I was surprised and then a bit angry when I learned that of all the elected Minnesota Legislature, who are taxing and spending the citizens of Minnesota, their is only 1 who graduated from college with a degree in Accounting. Is it any wonder that we now see what has been allowed to operate down at the capital city? The elect running around making deals that does nothing other than make them better each and everyday at spending other peoples money. I am sick of it, and will not stand for it any longer, it is long past the time to take your financial records and go see the accountant in order to balance the books. If the cash flow is not there, then you don't have the money to spend, period, end of story. This 2010 election year Chisago County has the unique opportunity to participate in accounting for the works down at tax and spend central (St. Paul), by voting into the Minnesota House District 17b office Bob Barrett. Bob who is not much different than many of us on household budgets and unlike many of us trying to balance the budget, he consumes balance sheets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, he would of course, he holds a college degree in Accounting. As an Executive Accounting Director with Hazeldon, Bob has applied his expert comprehension of accounting and finance for over 10 years.
Primary Election Day- August 10th, just a few short weeks away is a Primary election between Bob Barrett and the understudy Mayor of Wyoming, Sheldon Anderson. Their was not supposed to be a primary, though Mr. Anderson who agreed to abide by the endorsement process prior to the convention, won a bitter defeat and changed his mind after the convention . Humm, seems mind changing is something that infects our State Legislature, anyway Chisago County folks need to take heed as the Primary on August 10th will elect the candidate who will face Travel Agent DFL Cindy Erickson in November. 6 Billion dollars!!! in the red, no budget, not a wisp of accounting, who you going to call? Secret Agent, (Private Detective) Travel Agent or the Accounting Agent?
